Data Deletion Instructions

How to delete your data from LTCH Chat App — comply with Facebook's data deletion requirements

At LTCH Chat App, we respect your right to control your data. This page explains how you can delete your data from our system. We provide two methods for data deletion: automatic (through the app interface) and manual (via email request).

Method 1: Automatic Deletion (Recommended)#

Delete Data for a Specific Page
#

  1. Log in to LTCH Chat App at pagechat.loptoancohanh.com.
  2. Click on the Settings icon in the sidebar navigation.
  3. Under Connected Pages, find the Page you want to disconnect.
  4. Click the “Disconnect” button next to that Page.
  5. Confirm the action when prompted.

What gets deleted:

  • All conversations and messages associated with that Page
  • The Page’s access tokens (encrypted)
  • Webhook subscriptions for that Page

Delete All Data (Full Account Removal)

To remove all data associated with your account:

  1. Log in to LTCH Chat App.
  2. Click on your profile/avatar in the sidebar.
  3. Select “Log Out”.
  4. Then go to your Facebook Settings > Apps and Websites.
  5. Find “LTCH Chat App” and click “Remove”.

Note: Removing the app from Facebook Settings will revoke our access to your Facebook account. Your data stored in our system will be deleted within 30 days.

Method 2: Manual Deletion Request

If you cannot access the app, you can request data deletion via email:

  1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: “Data Deletion Request”
  2. Include the following information in your email:
    • Your full name
    • The Facebook email address associated with your account
    • The Facebook Page(s) you want data deleted for (or “all” for complete deletion)
    • A brief confirmation that you are the account owner

Processing Time: We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.

What Data Will Be Deleted
#

When you request data deletion, the following information will be permanently removed from our systems:

Backup data may persist for up to 90 days before being fully purged from all backup systems.

Data Deletion Confirmation
#

Once your data has been deleted:

  • Automatic method: You will see the Page removed from your dashboard immediately.
  • Manual method: We will send a confirmation email to the address you provided within 30 days.

Facebook Data Deletion Callback URL
#

For Facebook’s App Review process, our data deletion callback is configured at:

  • https://appchat.loptoancohanh.com/data-deletion/callback

When users delete the app from their Facebook Settings, this endpoint triggers automatic deletion of their data from our servers.

Important Notes
#

  • Data cannot be recovered once deleted. Please make sure you want to proceed.
  • Disconnecting a Page only deletes data for that specific Page. Other connected Pages remain active.
  • Removing the app from Facebook revokes all permissions and triggers full data deletion.
  • If you reconnect a Page after deletion, a fresh set of data will be synced from Facebook.
